Dunedin Midwinter Carnival
A celebration of winter in the city centre including a Carnival Procession featuring giant lanterns, large-scale projections, costumed dancers, musicians and hundreds of children carrying lanterns. In 2021 the event will feature three zones – the Octagon, a lantern display at First Church and a Night Market.

Koha/Donation of $5 recommended (booking fees may apply)
Wheel chair access available. Disabled parking available. Adults please allow children and disabled to sit in front on road front.
A walk-through installation featuring 100s of beautiful lanterns, soundtrack, smoke machines and projection. A spectacular indoor lantern installation held in the lead up to Christmas, this is a beautiful family friendly event.
